Moon Ocean

Moon Ocean is a collection of poetry in which the lyric voice opens up the intrapoetic to guide the reader into the moon ocean of the Self. The first touch with these waters is the lyrical confessions  of Fermina Ponce, in the  section entitled I Write. In these reasons to write, the poet advises the reader.

For in this ocean, sometimes the Self is wrestling with itself, “I write to ache while I bleed all over, and I surrender completely, even if it destroys me into little pieces, tired of birthing verses…” It is in this ‘incision of thought’ where Poetry triumphs.

Where the poet Fermina Ponce triumphs, describing
the intimate folds of a moon ocean that cannot be
expressed otherwise”.

Crime

You smother my wings,
my gentle «I am, »
you lash out at night
and every poisonous word,
bleeds my longing.

My numb self.
